Summer TreKKing

All Season Adaptive Sports, a nonprofit 501c organization established in 1976, has provided adaptive sports opportunities for individuals with a permanent disability. Our mission is to enhance access to outdoor locations that may not typically be seen as accessible. We are dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities take part in the wonders of nature.

Moose in the great outdoors

Step away from the concrete walkways and paved roads and embark on a trek with us. Spending time in the great outdoors is enriching for all, and we believe that everyone should have the chance to enjoy our National Forests, regardless of their abilities.

With our adaptive off-road wheelchairs, hand-cycles, and dedicated fully certified adaptive sports coaches, we embark on thrilling adventures across Lincoln County New Mexico, from Billy the Kid territory to the high mountains of the Sacramento Mountain range. Don’t forget your camera to capture the wildlife and picturesque scenery. Every outing with us is an unforgettable experience.

Biking

Mountain biking takes you off the beat path and into the wild. All Season Adaptive Sports offers an opportunity for everyone, no matter their disability.

All Season Adaptive Sports has Bowhead and TI Trike bikes, both with electric assist. We also offer a TI Trike handcycle as well.

Instruction is customized to your experience level. A typical introductory session begins with bike selection and an overview of bike anatomy. Once the basics of balance, braking, and shifting are covered, riders will hit one of the beautiful trails our area offers ranging from flat to the more challenging upper sections.

Additional mountain bike rentals for family members and friends are available from our partnered local bike shop.

Cast a Line & Paddle Out: Adaptive Fishing and Kayaking

Experience the beauty of Ruidoso from the water! At All Season Adaptive Sports, we make it easier than ever to enjoy our local lakes with specialized equipment and streamlined access.

Hassle-Free Fishing: Whether you are a seasoned angler or trying fishing for the first time, we have you covered. Clients can participate in our guided fishing trips without the need to purchase an individual New Mexico fishing license. By utilizing our organization’s institutional fishing license, we remove the paperwork so you can focus on the catch.

Kayaking at Grindstone & Alto Lakes: Take in the serene mountain views from a new perspective. We offer adaptive kayaking sessions at both Grindstone Lake and Alto Lake, providing the stable equipment and expert instruction needed for a safe, inclusive, and refreshing day on the water.
